Garry has been involved in magic from an early age and over the years has obtained a vast knowledge of the arts both in theory and practice. This experience has given him the ability to perform for any audience on any occasion.

Garry is an all-round performer covering children’s birthday parties, close-up mingling and table magic, stage cabaret shows to big box stage illusions shows.

​

Garry became a professional Magician at an early age and has worked with all the major Hotels and Oil / Service Companies in Aberdeen and further afield. He has worked for the Hilton Treetops Hotel as their resident Magician for over 30 years – working in their restaurant every Friday evening. Present day he alternates between mid-week Tuesday evenings and Friday evenings.

Garry also travels the length and breadth of Scotland to cover all the Holiday Parks throughout the School Holiday seasons. He is also a regular performer at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at the Craigendarroch in Ballater.

​

Garry performs at Aberdeen Children’s’ Hospital twice a month and brings a smile and a laugh to the many children, and their families, who are unfortunately either visiting the

A;E, attending outpatients appointments or who are actual patients. He also works regularly for the Cancer charity CLAN and is booked yearly for their annual fundraisers.

​

Garry was extremely honoured to have been given the title of Scotland’s best stage performer at the age of 25 with his card and dove manipulation act and was awarded the Murry Wand for showmanship at the 50th celebration of the Scottish Association of Magical Societies. He has attended and performed on SAMS Gala Shows on many occasions with the most recent being held in Perth, Scotland. He was invited to attend and enter the Blackpool Magicians Stage Competition.

Garry has entered into and won many in-house Aberdeen Magical Society Cups and Trophies over the years with the most recent win of the Ron Gordon Trophy for Card Magic.

​

Garry is currently An Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle, with Silver Star, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and Equity and is President of Aberdeen Magical Society, a position held since August 2014.
