John Irons has been in the entertainment business for over 25 years. He started with the group Chesters Peace, recording two very successful albums with Scotland’s biggest record label, Scotdisc.
After going solo he continued to record successful albums, including some duets with one of Scotland’s leading female entertainers, Lorraine Summers. He was then offered a programme with West Sound Radio in Ayr where he remained for three years before moving to Radio Clyde in Glasgow where he presented for eleven years, regularly drawing record audiences.
During that time he continued to perform all over Scotland, building up a large and loyal following. He covers a broad spectrum of music from the sixties through to the present day.
